44 Cup At-A-Glance
The Series: Dedicated to the front engine watercooled Porsche, featuring competitive and clean racing with year end Regional and National Championships. The series, often referred to as the 944 Cup, includes 2 classes: Cup and Super Cup.
The Cars: Front-engine water cooled Porsches including the various models of the 924S, 944, 951 and 968. A turn key ready to race Porsche can be purchased to race in the series for under $8,000. More about the model 944 .
Where: Cup Chapters range from Canada to Florida and then out to the Pacific NorthWest, visiting many of the best tracks in the country, such as Watkins Glen, VIR, Mosport, Sebring and Road Atlanta. The Cup series partners with other sanctioning bodies to provide safe and well organized events, including PCA, SCCA, and NASA.
Getting Started: Most front engine Porsches racing in PCA, SCCA and NASA are eligible. Bring your race car, log book and race license from NASA, PCA or SCCA, meet the designated weight/horsepower limits and you're ready to race in the 944 Cup. Don't have a race license or a race prepared Porsche, we'll help you with getting one.
